Jewish Women. The big news is The Return of the Jewish Woman, or Jewish-American Princess, as it were. Many have been to Tibet. Others faithfully attend Masturbation Class. A lot of them kiss back. Some are enjoying rebellious second marriages to narcotics cops and reportedly do not snap and pick at them, demanding, for example, that they better their arrest records. The Jewish Woman is still a little tough, but it is a new kind of gentle and giving toughness. Don’t write off the Jewish Woman. There is no need to run out and buy her a Mercedes—but give her an even chance.

Famous Women. Just because a woman is famous and successful is no reason to give up on her. We have all heard the stories. Candice Bergen sits home on Saturday nights. Cybill Shepherd, same thing. So when Saturday night comes around, call up Candice Bergen. The chances are you will catch her as she is about to go out—because all those stories are ridiculous—but at least you will have the thrill of having made contact with Candice Bergen and not having spent a Totally Lonely Saturday Night.

Much Younger Women. Don’t be intimidated by Much Younger Women. Considerable nonsense has been written about the pitfalls of such relationships—the Middle-Aged Lonely Guy and the Much Younger Lovely Young Thing. There is only one real danger—younger women love to let out bloodcurdling screams, leap out from behind couches and pretend their heads have been chopped off. As a fun thing. They can’t, for the life of them, grasp why you may find this offputting. If you can surmount this one obstacle, it’s full speed ahead on women many years your junior.

Less-Than-Great Beauties. At a certain point, you may decide that you have had it with beautiful faces and bodies, that all of this is fleeting and transient and that only sound character is of importance. Once you come to this realization, and you still can’t get anyone to go out with you, then you are really in bad shape. You must tread lightly at this juncture.

Actresses. No one can be more charming if you have a part for them.

Models. Good, when they hit age twenty-nine and realize they are not going to get away with their behavior forever.
